A sunny autumn / summers day sets the scene for a leisurely stroll along the Mill Stream Walkway, where Monarch butterflies flutter gracefully in this enchanting oasis.
For those with little ones, this is a must-visit! Pack a picnic and enjoy the delightful gardens, where winding paths follow the stream, and cosy seating and a picnic table invite you to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings.
The gardens are open all year, although the butterflies are best viewed in the warmer months.
Volunteers have cleared an area of the Mill Stream Walkway where flowers and plants raised from seed have been massed to attract butterflies.
